October ushers in a change of weather, and temps are cooling down. But competition is heating up in the Fall NCTTA divisionals! We have already had a plethora of tournaments to start the 2024-25 academic year, so let’s get to the results!
Texas Division Director Doru Gheorghe said there were no upsets in either of the Texas Divisions, with Texas Wesleyan and Baylor securing first place in their respect Texas 1 and Texas 2 divisions.
He also noted some players that made waves in the competition were Jonatan McDonald of Texas Wesleyan and Michael Tran of Baylor University. According to Gheorghe “everybody was excited to play and enjoy the game, meet old friends and make new ones.” We love the #loudnproud energy amiable atmosphere!
In the Georgia division, Georgia Tech confidently clinched 1st in a 5-0 sweep, with UGA and Vanderbilt rounding out 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
For the Dixie Division, LSU beat out UAB for the first place finish.
