USA Table TennisThe 2013 US Nationals Table Tennis National Championships take place Dec. 17-21st in Las Vegas, Nevada. To avoid late entry fees, enter by October 18th, 2013. Information and Entry information is available in this posting.

Players of all ability levels are invited to enter; there 79 events. The top US players will compete in the National Championships and there will be exciting action for spectators at Center Court.

Lily Zhang Wins Women’s ITTF-North American Cup Title

Lily Zhang US Nat 2012 ALily Zhang won the 2013, ITTF-North American Cup in Westchester NY. Her ICC/STIGA Team mate, Timothy Wang was runner-up to Andre Ho from Canada. Both Lily and Timothy continue to show consistent winning results in major events. Credit goes to these two talented players and their dedication to training, as-well-as to their coaches and to the tremendous support they all receive from the ICC/STIGA Elite Team.

World Champion Fan Zhendon Signs with STIGA!

One of Chinas’ biggest hopes for the future Fan Zhendong, has signed a long term agreement with STIGA! Fan Zhendong who has two years left as a junior teams up with superstar Xu Xin as a very strong STIGA team for the future.

Congratulations to Timothy Wang and Lily Zhang for their respective number 1 finishes at the US Team Trials in San Jose, CA. In her charge to the number one spot on the Women’s Team, Lily did not loss a single match, while Timothy finished as number one on the Men’s Team with just one match loss! With these impressive finishes the two US National Champions continue to show why they deserve to be at the top of US table tennis.

Congratulations to Zhou Xin who has been recognized by the USATT as its 2012 National Coach of the Year. Zhou coaches out of the ICC club and works with Lily Zhang and Timothy Wang among the many other oustanding players from that nationally recognized program.

Winner of the Men’s Singles title at the GAC GROUP 2012 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in Hangzhou in December 2012, China’s Xu Xin is the new World no.1. The devastating left handed pen-holder, who will celebrated his 23rd birthday on Tuesday 8th January 2013, replaces colleague Zhang Jike at the top of the Men’s World Rankings. On the lists published by the International Table Tennis Federation on Friday 4th January 2013, Zhang Jike, the reigning World champion in addition to being gold medallist at the London 2012 Olympic Games and top of the rankings since July 2012, falls one place to no.2.
